Designer: Isabel MarantInspiration: The designer took inspiration from a female reporter who has travelled the whole world and who has an assertive and confident personality, whilst still being elegant and sophisticated. She is always well accompanied with men walking by her side on the catwalk.Collection: A story of very pronounced and wide shoulders which underline the allure and which bring a certain power to earth toned jumpsuits, sleeveless shirts and big jumpers in which we want to wrap ourselves in. Trousers inspired by military trousers are rounded but remain high-waisted, leather is proposed in a creamy white or burgundy for a skirt that ties up, without forgetting the shorts worn with big pleated boots.Dresses and floral tops are pleated and sequins and glitter are added to sweaters. For men, jumpers and very chic blazers are just as attractive.Note: The gilet perfect to warm up outfits + quilted top in pink and raspberry tones.+ As always a sublime casting with Kaia Gerber, Gigi Hadid and Anna Ewers.Interview with Isabel Marant:The idea of the show was to have a very strong female reporter who has documented from war zones and who has been all around the world which has enhanced her personality. She is a strong woman and doesn’t expect anything from anyone, she knows herself, she is assertive and has the desire to be different and despite everything, she feels good in her clothes. I try to make quite sophisticated and elegant but also slightly casual items inspired by utilitarian clothing with many trousers and boots for winter. Idea of protection. There is always a touch of the 80s following on from the last show.I think these models wear my clothes well, they have the attitude I want for the show, so I am delighted because they always feel good in the clothes so they are happy to model them and it's always a moment of celebration and joy.Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
