Creative Director: Angela MissoniInspiration: For the 65th anniversary of her brand, Angela Missoni wanted to add magic to her evening show, accompanied by a live performance by the pianist Michael Nyman and under the dome of Mario Bellini with a view of Milan’s skyline. A way of modernly visualizing the future of the brand.Collection: A slender, fluid, effortless and light silhouette made with lunar and mineral tones. Two piece pyjama sets, lined slippers, long frilled colorful tunics, superimpositions of dresses, dressing gowns and long jumpers show one after the other. Men also wear soft suits, knits and patterned jumpers. To close the show we see bold denim blue silhouettes.Note: Knotted shawls worn around the shoulders, slippers covered in feathers and faces drawn on tops. Interview :Angela Missoni : It’s a collection with a romantic side and for this reason I wanted the show to be in the evening, to have a dreamlike sensation, a bit like a fantasy, with the idea of something being impalpable, and it’s this idea that I tried to transfer onto my clothes. Long, fine and voluptuous silhouettes occasionally flow in both men’s and women’s wardrobes. The color palette has changed, with lunar tones, off-whites and neutral colors with other colours incorporated. You pass through these various colours until you arrive at the final where you see denim tones of pale blues and darker blues. There is also knitted denim.It’s the idea similar to that of artists from the 70s in Rome, who dressed like Louise Nevelson, always happy to mix cultural references coming from various places in the world.Music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
