Finalist of the LVMH Prize in 2015, already praised by the press, the American designer Virgil Abloh presents a collection full of energy for the first day of menswear collection in ParisDesigner: Virgil AblohSilhouette: Street meets chic; the designer evokes a new luxury with his collection playing with volumes in multiple detailsThe outfit: The coat with patch embellishments and stripes on the back or in his bomber exampleColours: White very present, camel, grey, black plays with the classics until the explosion of vivid colorsTo Note: All the very popular coats & jackets + the yellow worker attachment which is found everywhere, on handles and / or on beltsInterview from Virgil Abloh:What I’m exploring is tailoring but not in a slim silhouette, I think it’s new, for example in the Zeitgeist it’s a silhouette with volume and I think there will be some expert and unique young takes on tailoring. For example a street take on tailoring within fashion. So that’s what I’m attempting to do now, to keep trying to identify a new luxury. Stefano Pilati is my favorite men’s muse and I feel like his personal style is something that can be expanded upon so that’s what I’m doing with Off-White. My friends and I are creating a new vocabulary and it comes from the street it comes from real life.Music of the show (do not reuse for more than 7 days)
